Petcare 200 Program

The Master Pet Stylist certification program is the second step to becoming an ISCC Certified Master Pet Stylist. It includes educational and validation programs encompassing understanding and overall knowledge of breed standards, basic & advanced clipper, scissor & hand-stripping techniques as well as rules of perception, locomotion & geometrics as applied to the ideal sculpting and design of canine coats.

Study Aids & Preparatory Programs

The ISCC Study Guide & its Addendum contain sections that are designed to aid individuals studying for their Master Pet Stylist written examinations. In addition, the Complete Dog Book by AKC is required for study in preparation for the 206-209 tests. ISCC also hosts one-day Non-Sporting, Sporting and Terrier clinics. The Advanced Pet Styling symposium also covers the theory and practical skills techniques required for tests 201-205. The ISCC Masters symposium is offered to individuals who have completed the Advanced Pet Styling symposium and wish to fine-tune their practical skills. Awards and Certificates

A certificate of completion is awarded upon successfully passing each exam. Individuals who complete all ISCC DermaTech and Master Pet Stylist written and practical skills examinations with a grade of 70% or higher will be certified by ISCC as possessing the skills required of Master Pet Stylist and will be awarded the title of such.
